Admire the sublime Cathedral Basilica of the National Shrine of Our Lady Aparecida (Catedral Basílica Santuário Nacional de Nossa Senhora Aparecida) broadcasting live from the city of Aparecida, in the Brazilian state of São Paulo. The cathedral is a renowned Roman Rite Catholic basilica in Romanesque Revival style dedicated to Our Lady of Aparecida, the Patroness of Brazil. This famous shrine is the second largest Catholic church in interior space (after the St. Peter's Basilica), receiving pilgrims from all parts of the country and the world. The significance of the site began in 1717 when three fishermen found a statue of the Virgin Mary on the Paraíba River, and after the occurrence, they were surprised with an abundance of fish. The wooden statue found by the fishermen is in permanent exhibit at the Basilica. Around the temple, there are an array of infrastructures such as accommodation, medical clinics, parking and more.
The live view is brought to you by the Hotel Santo Graal set to the east of the basilica as you can see down on the map.
