This live streaming webcam comes to you from Col de la Met, a high mountain pass in the Rhône-Alpes region of France at an elevation of 2.750m (9,022ft) above sea level. The moving camera with close-ups stationed at the top of the TSF4 de la Met chairlift provides excellent views of the surrounding peaks as well as the scenic Mount-Cenis Lake, which was created in the 1960s.

The Col de la Met mountain road is one of the highest in France, located in the commune of Val-Cenis in the southeast of the country. Val-Cenis has a winter sports resort called Val Cenis Vanoise, which is popular for skiing in the winter and hiking, mountain biking, and other activities in the stunning scenery in the summer.
