Wexford is a county in the province of Leinster, in the southeast area of the Republic of Ireland. It has approximately 145,000 residents, while the county seat, which is also called Wexford, is a town with about 20,000 inhabitants, located on the banks of the River Slaney that is crossed by the Wexford Bridge.
