The Jerusalem District (Hebrew: מחוזירושלים‎‎, Arabic: منطقةالقدس‎‎) is situated in Israel, in the Middle East, with a stretch of the Dead Sea shore on the east side. The district population is mainly Jewish (around 68%) and Arab (approximately 31%). We give thanks for the live webcams showing Jerusalem, a holy city for Judaism, Christianity and Islam, thus an essential and international pilgrimage city, which became particularly important, since Jesus Christ was taken here after being born and was also crucified in this city. The holy sites include the Western Wall, the Mount of Olives and Mount Zion, as well as the temples within the Old City (4th millennium B.C.) surrounded by walls constructed in 1538.
