The Venetian Causeway bridge, which opened in 1927, connects the man-made Venetian Islands to the Miami Beach City Centre, whereas the MacArthur Causeway ICW Bridge carries State Road 836 and State Road A1A in the direction of 5th Street in Miami Beach.
