U.S. state of Maryland, located on the northeast side of the country, has its borders to the states of Pennsylvania, Delaware, Washington, D.C., Virginia and West Virginia, and a coastline to the Atlantic Ocean.
Maryland is famous for the shores of Chesapeake Bay, the Inner Bay of Baltimore City, which has a historic trading port, and for the outstanding Ocean City. For having such a diversity of landscapes, Maryland has been nicknamed ‘America in Miniature’ — you'll certainly have a beautiful time in a black-eyed-Susan field (the state flower), in the forested mountains, along the C&O Canal Historical Park, and sightseeing over the Deep Creek Lake, the largest in the state.
