The Orleans County Courthouse was built in the Romanesque style in 1886, and it features a distinctive clock tower topped by a pyramidal roof. This building has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1984.
Newport is a picturesque lake city that serves as the county seat of Orleans County and is home to 4,455 people, according to the last census in 2020.
