In the foreground across the bay is the peninsula Hawksnest Point, where stands the sandy Caneel Bay Beach. The picturesque cays displayed are Lovango, Mingo, Grass and Thatch on Pillsbury Sound. Windmill Bar is at the Estate Susannaberg, a former sugar plantation. Now it is home to the event venue Neptune's Lookout, the 1780 Susannaberg windmill, a golf course, a campsite and Windmill Bar, offering magnificent views and famous sunsets.
