This high-definition live webcam takes you to the widest avenue in the world! It is the July 9 Avenue (Avenida 9 de Julio) in the city centre of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Standing out is the Obelisk of Buenos Aires (Obelisco de Buenos Aires), built in 1936 to commemorate the quadricentennial of the foundation of the city. This avenue is lined with hotels, public and cultural buildings, and parks in the middle! Behind the Obelisk, you can see a large building with an artwork named "Evita" (in memory of the former first lady Eva Perón), by Alejandro Marmo, an Argentine artist.
