This underwater Rubbing Beach live webcam captures the fascinating behaviour of orcas as they rub their bellies against the smooth pebbled shore, a process known as "beach rubbing." This is a one-of-a-kind behaviour seen only in Johnstone Strait, British Columbia, Canada.

Orcas' beach rubbing is often seen at Bere Point Beach (also known as "Rubbing Beach") on Malcolm Island, which is marked on the map further down the page.
Visitors to Malcolm Island can increase their chances of spotting orcas by staying overnight at Bere Point Campsite or lodging in winter at Bere Point Regional Park.
Visit explore.org to learn more about orcas, also known as killer whales.
