Ontario is the most populated province of Canada and home to the country’s capital, Ottawa. Its largest borders are to the Canadian states of Manitoba (west) and Quebec (east), while its southern part touches the U.S. state of Michigan. It has a coastline to Hudson Bay to the north, and is bathed with freshwater lakes to the south.

Ontario has two main areas: Southern Ontario, which is the urban side of the province, where its major cities are located (eg.
