Watch live Confederation Bridge, a 12.9-kilometre (8 mi) long bridge, connecting the province of Prince Edward Island with mainland New Brunswick, Canada. Also called “Fixed Link”, this bridge is the longest in the world crossing ice-covered water and one of the top engineering achievements of Canada in the 20th century. Confederation Bridge crosses Northumberland Strait since 1997, carrying a stretch of Trans-Canada Highway, and replacing the ferry services between Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick.
