Welcome to Québec City, in the state of Quebec, in Canada. This high-definition live cam displays the majestic Parliament Building (Hôtel du Parlement), built from 1877 to 1886 with 52 metres (171 feet) in height, and eight floors. The building is an excellent example of the Second Empire architectural style, which was originated in France, in the latter half of the 19th century. In the centre of the roundabout stands the exquisite Torny fountain (fontaine de Tourny), inaugurated on July 3, 2007, to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Qúebec City.
