This live streaming HD webcam presents Plaza Italia, also called Plaza Baquedano, in Santiago, the capital city of Chile. In the centre is a monument featuring General Manuel Baquedano, made by Chilean sculptor Virgínio Arias. General Manuel Baquedano (1823-1897) was an important Chilean soldier as well as a politician namely during the War of the Pacific and during the civil war of 1891.
