Watch this live webcam overview of the picturesque Frýdlant Square, the main square in the town of Frýdlant, Czech Republic.
The panorama is viewed from the magnificent Neo-Renaissance style Town Hall of Frýdlant. As you can see from this live feed, the square is surrounded by colourful typical burgher houses, at the centre there is a fountain and a statue of Albrecht von Wallenstein, who was a military leader and statesman in Bohemia and occupant of the Frýdlant Castle.
The square is named after Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, the first president of Czechoslovakia, after the state’s independence from Austria-Hungary in 1918.
