The tramway, founded in 1970 by Claude Lane, the visionary behind Modern Electric Tramways Ltd., breathes new life into the past. Its fleet of fourteen tramcars, each crafted to evoke classic British designs, welcomes approximately 90,000 visitors a year. These tramcars, ranging from half-scale (1:2) to two-thirds-scale (2:3), showcase meticulous craftsmanship.
