Raahe, located in the region of North Ostrobothnia in Finland, is seen in real time via a moving webcam that is streaming live from the rooftop of the Raahe Tornitalo, which is approximately 50 metres above ground.
View panoramic cityscapes and close-ups of the scenic waterfront along Pikkulahti Bay, as well as the striking greenery of the Raahe archipelago, which consists of about 50 small islands just off the city shores.
Along Pikkulahti Bay, you can see a close-up of the wonderful Pikkulahti Beach, a marina, and Maa-Fantti Island.
Raahe seafront is a spectacular destination that you can explore along the paths of the Pitkänkari Nature Trail. There is also a bird-watching tower, a play area, and tranquil lodging. During the summer, tourists enjoy island-hopping cruises, kayaking, and canoeing. The frozen sea also invites a variety of enjoyable winter activities.
Among the landmarks, you can see the tower of the Holy Trinity Church in the distance and the main streets.
This fascinating city, as shown on the map further down the page, is one of the best preserved wooden towns in Finland, with wooden houses and historic squares mostly in the Old Town.
