This is a live webcam view of the Market Square (Place du Marché) or town square in Munster, a commune in the Haut-Rhin department of Grand Est, France.

The cam feed shows the magnificent Protestant church of Munster, a beautiful church covered with storks' nests, with a façade in Neo-Romanesque style and Gothic elements inside. The church was finished in 1874 and was restored after being damaged during World War I.

Every Tuesday and Saturday morning, the Place du Marché in Munster's town centre hosts traditional markets where you can try or restock on tasty local products.

Other historical landmarks in the Market Square area include the ruins of the 7th-century Munster Abbey, which was well known for being the origin of the famous Munster cheese.

Munster, as shown on the map further down the page, is located in a scenic valley in the Vosges Mountains, an interesting destination in the Grand Est region, and at the heart of the historical region of Alsace.
