Greater Accra Region is the most populated as well as the most urbanized region in the country of Ghana. The region, which is contains Ghana's capital, Accra, is located along the Gulf of Guinea, in the south part of the country. The region is composed of 26 districts, 2 of which are metropolitan - the Accra Metropolitan District and Tema Metropolitan District.
