Thassos or Thasos, in the Aegean Sea, is the northernmost island of Greece and the 12th largest in terms of area, having approximately 14,000 residents. Despite the mountains, forests and beaches, and also the sunny and warm climate throughout the year, tourism sector is not so strong as on other islands.
