This is favoured resort area, not only for its attractive sandy beach that you have a glimpse here, but also for water sports namely snorkelling and diving, with the West End reef just about 200 metres from the beach. In fact, Roatán is a top scuba diving destination, for its abundant fringing reef, part of the 1,000km-long (620mi) Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System.
