Győr-Moson-Sopron (Győr-Moson-Sopron megye) is a county in Hungary on the border with Austria and Slovakia. The administrative seat is Győr, a city with history situated at the confluence of the rivers Danube, Rába and Rábca. The landmarks in Győr are mostly in Baroque style, namely the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady, and the old square Bécsi kapu tér. Győr is set halfway between Vienna and Budapest, being ideal for a land tour.

The city of Sopron is situated on the Austrian border on the shore of Lake Neusiedl. Sopron features varying architecture including Renaissance, Medieval and Baroque especially in the older part of the town.
