Live HD views of Dobó Square (Dobó tér or Dobó István tér), the main square of Eger city, the capital of Heves County, in Hungary. This plaza has a flat fountain and is surrounded by historic buildings, the main one being Minorite Church. Built in 1771, in the honour of St Anthony of Padua, it is one of the world’s most impressive Baroque-style buildings.

Also referred to as the ‘Baroque Pearl of Europe’, Eger is a historical city, known for its castle, thermal baths and wines. Located on the Eger Stream, on the Bükk Mountains, and with about 55,000 inhabitants, it is the 2nd largest in Northern Hungary.
