This harbour was built between 1817 and 1842 replacing a smaller one existing since medieval times.
Along the harbour you may enjoy a stroll on the long East Pier and West Pier as well, and enjoy the waterfront views. You may also experience water activities such as sailing, swimming and fishing.
Just a few minutes walk from Dún Laoghaire town centre, this seafront area is a great choice to spend a relaxing time on the southernmost part of Dublin Bay, and is just around 40 minutes from Dublin city centre.
