This live webcam displays the beautiful Yardenit Baptismal Site along the Jordan River, situated in the Galilee region of the Northern District of Israel. Yardenit receives more than half a million tourists and pilgrims annually wishing to experience the tranquillity and beauty of the River Jordan in a spiritual environment. Many pilgrims come here to receive the baptism that has a special meaning for being in the river in which Jesus was baptised by John the Baptist.
The community “Kvutzat Kinneret” in the southwest of the Sea of Galilee manages Yardenit area that includes modern conveniences on a peaceful setting of the Holy Land.
