This live moving webcam from Roma Five Suites Hotel takes you to Venice Town Square (Piazza Venezia) in the historic city centre of Rome, Lazio, Italy.
From this cam feed, you can see the most amazing historic monuments such as Piazza Venezia, Altare della Patria (Altar of the Fatherland), Piazza d'Aracoeli park, and the historical Campidoglio, a hilltop square designed by Michelangelo.
Piazza Venezia in central Rome, where many arteries in the city intersect, is set at the foot of the Capitoline Hill and near many historic sites such as Trajan Forum, the remains of a Roman Square, the National Museum of the Palazzo di Venezia, and the magnificent Altare Della Patria. Altare Della Patria is a striking marble edifice, as seen in this streaming, built in 1885-1925 to honor Victor Emanuel II, Italy's first king, whose statue is in the centre of the building. Altare Della Patria contains the “Tomb of the Unknown Soldier” war memorial, which has come to represent all of the country's unknown fallen soldiers.
On the map further down the page, you can see an overview of this notable area in Rome.
