Ohori Park is a designated Scenic Beauty; this picturesque setting is a popular recreation area for jogging, walking, and boating, and is a great place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are pleasant walking paths around the lake, which can be seen in part on the left side of the image. The park's green islet is visible in the middle of the lake, as are the Ukimi-do Pavilion and Kangetsu Bridge on the right. See our map further down the page to find this location.

Every year on August 1st, Fukuoka’s biggest fireworks display is held at Ohori Park.
