The Plateau Restaurant is located in the Marunuma Kogen Resort's main station. This Ski Resort has 59 hectares (146 acres) of skiable terrain and 610 metres (2002 feet) of vertical descent.
The resort is located in the Marunuma Kogen Kiko National Park, which is home to the Stratovolcano mountain peak Mount Nikkō-Shirane. In the summer, visitors to this national park enjoy hiking and climbing Nikkō-Shirane, as well as exploring the many scenic spots nearby.
