This live webcam looks out over the busy Sendai Airport (SDJ) in Natori, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan.
The audio-enhanced live stream will show moving planes on the runway and parked at the airport's flight line, as well as the facilities of this busy airport on Honshu Island. The airport is located southeast of the major city of Sendai. To get to this city, take the Sendai Airport Station to Sendai Station, which takes 17 to 25 minutes by rapid train and 35-45 minutes by car rental or taxi.
Sendai International Airport (SDJ), which is located near Sendai Bay and can be seen on the map further down the page, was previously closed due to damage caused by the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake, Japan's strongest recorded earthquake, followed by a large tsunami that flooded the airport.
