This live streaming webcam shows you a splendid view of Mount Fuji, the highest mountain in Japan, at 3,776.24 m (12,389.2 ft), as seen from Kawaguchiko train station in Fujikawaguchiko, a resort in Yamanashi Prefecture, on the island of Honshu.
Mount Fuji, an icon of Japan, is one of the “Three Holy Mountains”, a designated Special Place of Scenic Beauty, and a Cultural Site on the World Heritage List since June 2013. This attractive active stratovolcano is a destination for sightseers, climbers as well as pilgrims.
Fujikawaguchiko town, where the cam feed is located, is a starting point for climbing the volcano along Yoshida Trail, which is around Lake Kawaguchi, one of the Fuji Five Lakes.
