Located in the Kenyan highlands, just a few kilometres north of the Equator, it includes two main urban areas — Nanyuki (southeast) and Nyahururu (southwest). The county’s economy is based on agriculture and tourism, mainly due to its natural resources, such as indigenous forests, rivers and wildlife, including hippos, elephants, giraffes and buffalos, which can be seen during a safari or through live streaming HD cameras.
