This breathtaking location, also known as Kuang Xi Falls, Kuang Si Falls, and Tat Kuang Si Waterfalls, is a must-see in Laos. It shows three mesmerising rows of waterfalls cascading down a hillside, creating pools of stunning blue-green water.
Tourists enjoy spending time here, admiring the breathtaking scenery from the seating areas, taking photos, and occasionally cooling off in the natural pools, especially after a hike. In fact, a popular way to reach this site, is by hiking through a trail that cuts through fields and dense mountain forest areas of Luang Prabang.
Tourists can also take a Mekong River Cruise that passes by Kuang Si Waterfall, or they can arrive by car, taxi, bike, tuk tuk, or minibus.
The Kung Si Waterfall itself flows through the jungle above, emptying out in this picturesque area surrounded by vegetation, including magnificent trees.
