The well-protected Zihuatanejo Bay, which is mostly ringed by beaches, is a popular winter mooring spot for boats. On the hilly coast facing the bay, the city's main attraction, there are numerous dining and accommodation options.
The camera is set up at the Archaeological Museum of the Costa Grande (Museo Arqueológico de la Costa Grande), a one-story building built in 1947 that houses six exhibition rooms displaying artefacts from various archaeological sites in the region.
