The live webcam stream from the Himalaya Lodge in Lukla looks out over the mountains and the Tenzing Hillary airport (LUA), the gateway to the Everest region, in Chaurikharka, Solukhumbu district, Province No. 1 of north-eastern Nepal.
From this lodge cam feed, you can see the beautiful mountain scenery as well as one of the world's most dangerous airports, the Lukla Airport landing strip, where you can watch planes take off and land. This domestic airport in the small town of Lukla serves as the starting point for treks to Mt Everest Base Camp, which is only accessible by helicopters and small planes.
Himalayan Lodge, shown on the map below, is located in Lukla town at an elevation of 2800 metres and offers great accommodation, rock climbing, horseback riding, and beautiful gardens, including its own private forest.
