The province of South Holland (Zuid-Holland) is located in the west part of the Netherlands, on the coast of the North Sea. Bordering North Holland (north), Utrecht and Gelderland (east), as well as North Brabant and Zeeland (south), it covers an area of 3,403 km2. This is one of the country’s most populated and industrialised provinces.
