This street is the boulevard of the city, which shapes the central area of Rotterdam. In order to reduce traffic congestion in Coolsingel, improvements were made in 2021, providing more space for cyclists and pedestrians by reducing vehicle lanes.
In the foreground, you can see traffic in Coolsingel at a large intersection by the Beurs Metro Station. On the right side of this live feed is the World Trade Center Rotterdam, a 93-meter-tall steel-and-glass skyscraper containing office space.
