The county of Trøndelag, situated in Central Norway, was established on the 1st of January 2018 with the junction of the counties of Sør-Trøndelag and Nord-Trøndelag.
Trøndelag is an exceptional destination to spend time in nature while discovering genuine Norwegian traditions, including the food. With seven national parks and two nature reserves you may connect with nature through activities such hiking and cycling, or just contemplating the beauty of Nordic landscapes. The county has a Norwegian Sea coast and fjords, where you may enjoy memorable boat trips. There are fishing villages along the shore of Trøndelag as well as islands both in the sea and in the inlets, composing amazing sceneries for lovers of the coastal culture.
