Vestland is a county in the southwest part of Norway. It was established on January 1, 2020 comprising the former counties of Sogn og Fjordane and Hordaland, with the exception of the municipality of Horninda. This county includes Norway’s second largest city, Bergen, beautifully surrounded by mountains and fjords. It is well known for its colourful houses on the Vågen Harbour, once the centre of the Hanseatic commercial activities in the country.
