This live HD webcam provides a view of Gniezno Town Square, also known as the market square (Rynek), in the city of Gniezno, in central-western Poland.
The live feed provides a bird's-eye view of this lively square in Gniezno's Old Town. In the centre is a modern fountain, and around it are buildings from different periods of time, including hotels, cafes, and restaurants.
The layout of the square and surrounding streets dates from the reconstruction period following a fire in 1819. On the left are the twin towers of the magnificent 11th-century Royal Gniezno Cathedral (Bazylika Prymasowska Sanktuarium św. Wojciecha). The spires of the Catholic Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Anthony (Kościół Wniebowzięcia Najświętszej Maryi Panny i św. Antoniego) can be seen on the right.
