Welcome to the picturesque Old Town in Warsaw, the vibrant capital of Poland. The HD live stream displays Castle Square (plac Zamkowy) in front of Royal Castle, and surrounded by historic townhouses. The Royal Castle, which was the official residence of the Polish monarchs for centuries, was rebuilt after being almost completely destroyed in 1944. It is today a national monument, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most famed landmarks in Warsaw. Also shown on the live cam is Sigismund's Column (Kolumna Zygmunta) erected in 1644, dedicated to King Sigismund III Vasa who made Warsaw the Polish capital in the late 16th century.
