Zoo Gdańsk Oliwa (Gdański Ogród Zoologiczny), one of Poland's largest zoological gardens, is located in a beautiful area near the Gulf of Gdańsk, as shown on the map further down the page. ZOO Gdansk, which opened in 1954, has a small number of cheetahs in its exotic animal collection, which spans 125 hectares and includes animals from all continents. As a member of the European Association of Zoos and Aquariums (EAZA), the Gdańsk Zoo is able to participate in European Breeding Programmes (EEP) to ensure the survival of endangered animal species.
Visitors to the zoo can observe the cheetahs' daily activities and behaviour online 24/7, where they are cared for by trained staff
