This live HD webcam overlooks Jaworzno's main market square (Rynek Główny), which is surrounded by historic buildings, cafes, and restaurants in the Silesian Voivodeship of southern Poland.
At the far end of the square is the Collegiate Church of St. Adalbert and Catherine (Kościół Św.Wojciecha i Katarzyny) in Jaworzno, at the Świętego Jana square (Plac świętego Jana).
Rynek Główny has been the city market square since 1825, the commercial centre, and the centre of social activities in Jaworzno. The latest renovations included city lights seen at dusk and fountains on the ground.
The city of Jaworzno is within the Silesian Voivodeship, part of the Katowice urban area, and home to more than 90,000 people. In this mountainous city, there are beautiful lakes, forests, and recreation areas to enjoy the outdoors, such as Park Gródek. Other attractions include diving and scuba diving at Diving Marina "Koparki", and exploring the Centre for Ecological and Geological Education, GEOsfera.
