The Subcarpathian Voivodeship also called Subcarpathia Province, Podkarpackie Voivodeship and Podkarpackie Province is situated in the southeast part of Poland. The name Subcarpathian is related to the location of the region close to the Carpathian Mountains, which includes areas of the historic regions of Lesser Poland and Red Ruthenia.

In Subcarpathian Voivodeship you will find beautiful lakes, namely, Lake Solina with surrounding villages such as Solina, Polańczyk and Myczkowce, and small lagoons to swim or enjoy the green scenery, namely in the town Zaklików. The Bieszczady National Park is also a draw in the region, a part of the UNESCO East Carpathian Biosphere Reserve.
