This HD beach live cam takes you to North Beach (Praia do Norte) in the town of Nazaré, a famous resort in the Silver Coast, in Portugal. Just off the coast of Nazaré there is an undersea canyon, possibly the largest canyon in Europe, which causes very high breaking waves. The canyon has a maximum depth of at least 5,000 metres (16,000 ft) and it is about 230 kilometres (140 mi) long.
