The moving live webcam shows you the splendid Matosinhos Beach, in the Porto district of Portugal.
Appreciate this large sand beach on the northwest coast of Portugal, just north of the Douro estuary in the city of Matosinhos. The cam feed also displays the Cruise Terminal of the Port of Leixões featuring a modern building with an exceptional design completed in 2015. Also shown is the lighthouse at the end of the outer breakwater of Port of Leixões. South of the beach is the 17th-century Fort of Saint Francis Xavier, also called the Castle of the Cheese. You can see one of the fort's watchtowers, on the left-hand side, supported on cornices and exhibiting a rounded dome.
This urban beach is popular for surf and bodyboarding, and offers amenities such as surf equipment rentals and bars along the sand.
