This HD live webcam is towards Iasi Union Square - Piața Unirii, a central square in the city of Iași, in northeast Romania. In the centre of the square is a sculpture with a statue of
Alexandru Ioan Cuza, who was Prince of Moldavia and Wallachia, an important figure of the Revolution of 1848 in the historical region of Moldavia (whose territory included this city).
Around the square there are cafes and hotels, such as the Unirea Hotel & Spa in the centre behind the statue and the Grand Hotel Traian on the left-hand side of the image, renowned for its design by the French architect Gustave Eiffel. You also have a glimpse of the cityscapes of Iași, the administrative seat of Iași County, known for its wealth of historic landmarks.
