Enjoy this live webcam view of the historical Susaninskaya Square in the city centre of Kostroma, Russia, which is surrounded by remarkable Russian classical-style architecture.

In front, at the northern end, stands the grand Fire Tower, a symbol of the city, which was built in the 1820s and stands 35 metres tall.
The Fire Tower was once a guardhouse and, later, a fire station in the 1860s.
Aside from that, on the right side, is the Gauptvakhta museum, which houses military expositions.
The elegant 1824 Borschov Mansion, built for General Lieutenant Sergey Borschov and now housing the city's courthouse, can be seen on the right side of the live image.
Nine city streets meet at this central square in Kostroma. On the map further down the page, you can see an overview of this square in the capital of Kostroma Oblast.
