Along the Black Sea, to the southwest of this region, there are magnificent cities such as Novorossiysk, featuring the largest port in the krai. Also on the coastline, there is Sochi, a famed beach resort, which was the host city of the 2014 Winter Olympics. Within Greater Sochi, is the stunning Sochi National Park and excellent winter resorts such as Krasnaya Polyana, beautifully surrounded by mountains.
