Lakhta Center (Ла́хтаце́нтр) is now the tallest skyscraper in Russia and Europe, a large scale project designed by British architect Tony Kettle and Russian architectural firm Gorproject CJCS. This impressive futuristic 87-story complex is a multifunctional building, standing at 462m (1,516ft) tall, located along the coast of the Gulf of Finland in the northwestern historical area of Lakhta.
