This city camera shows you Nevsky Prospekt (Не́вский проспе́кт), the most important avenue of St. Petersburg, Russia, which crosses the city centre, connecting two major landmarks, Alexander Nevsky Monastery and the Admiralty. Walking along this street you will come across the retail complex Elisseeff Emporium and the large department store Great Gostiny Dvor, as well as several of the city’s most important monuments, such as the Kazan Cathedral, the Art Nouveau Singer House or Bookhouse, Stroganov Palace, Moscow Railway Station and the National Library of Russia.
